Episode 024 - Our Predictions for Season 6
Friday Jan 29, 2010
Friday Jan 29, 2010
We close out the hiatus with our Season 6 Spoiler-Free (as always) predictions for the final season of LOST. In this Episode of ReThinking LOST, Scott and Elton speculate on who we'll see in Season 6, who will survive to the end, what the first and last scenes of the season might be, what it all might be about, and more. We'll be releasing new shows throughout the season (look for them each weekend) where we'll be analyzing the previous week's episode. Please stay with us. And PLEASE KEEP IN MIND, Elton is watching from the UK and won't see the episodes until a few days after the US airing. We hope to make it through Season 6 spoiler-free, so please keep that in mind when tweeting, emailing, or posting on this site. This episode was a lot of fun to make, and we hope you enjoy it. Wondering if there's other bits that didn't make it into the podcast, why not check out the Things Scott Wonders about LOST blog. Contact us:

Episode 009 - The Dead Part 3
Friday Aug 28, 2009
Friday Aug 28, 2009
Scott and Elton return to continue their study of characters who have died (or so we think) on LOST. Part 3, includes a look at the lives, death scenes, and significance of Christian Shepherd, Anthony Cooper, Nikki, Paulo, Goodwin, Nathan, and more. You do know who Nathan is, don't you? Scott also reads from a 2006 Buddy TV post which analyzes the Season 2 DVD release party and suggests it may be a sign that ABC is losing faith in LOST. (Beware of clicking the link, the margins of the site may have links and headlines for more current articles that are Season 6 Spoilers) We plan to spend one more show looking at some major deaths in LOST's first 5 seasons for now, and then we'll be spending time on other topics. If you have a suggestion of where to turn our 20/20 hindsight or if you know of old analysis you'd like to see us revisit - please let us know. As always, this is a Season 6 Spoiler-free podcast. Episode 008 - Where were you March 12, 2009?
Thursday Aug 20, 2009
Thursday Aug 20, 2009
At the moment, both Elton and Scott are on family vacations (aka "holidays"). But don't worry, we have a special episode to share with you in our absence. As many of you know, Scott and Elton produce another podcast, called "An Apotheosis of a Bombast." During the one week break/hiatus in the middle of Season 5, the guys devoted an entire episode that podcast to a spoiler-free discussion of LOST. It was released on the Bombast feed on March 12, 2009, (Episode 008 of that podcast, ironically) and we are pleased to be able to share it with you here, in it's entirety. So enjoy a break from our look at "The Dead" and listen in as Elton and Scott discuss how they each got into the show, their favorite characters, make their own (crazy? in hindsight, maybe they were) predictions about how Season 5 might end, and more. This episode was then, and is still, a Season 6 Spoiler-Free podcast. So listen without worry. We hope you enjoy this glimpse into the origins of ReThinking LOST and that you find the show as a whole to be a good listen. If you like it, please do check out An Apotheosis of a Bombast on ITunes or through podbean (link below). We'll be back in plenty of time to bring you Episode 9 and more talk of the dead characters on LOST for next Thursday. Talk to us:

Episode 007 - The Dead Part 2
Thursday Aug 13, 2009
Thursday Aug 13, 2009
This week Scott and Elton continue to pick through the IMDB cast page for LOST and rethink the lives, deaths, and significance of the characters who have "passed on." In Part 2, we look at Carl, Alex, Danielle Rousseau, Michael, and many others. As always, we are striving to present you a Season 6 Spoiler-free podcast. So listen without worry. There are still many dead people to talk about (wow, that sounds cold, doesn't it?), but we will be going off on a 1 episode tangent in next week's episode. We are sure you will enjoy that episode, and don't worry - we will return to our study of the dead characters in LOST with Episode 9. Talk to us:

Episode 006 - The Dead Part 1
Thursday Aug 06, 2009
Thursday Aug 06, 2009
This week Scott and Elton begin a (Season 6 Spoiler Free!) rethinking of characters who have died on LOST. In the first of a multiple part study, we use the IMDB cast page for LOST and look at who's died, how they died, and how significant their characters were. There's no particular order, we just take them as we find them. Part 1 has us looking at the pilot of 815 (Greg Grunberg again!), the marshall, Sun's love interest, and Montand (among others). We also take a moment to respond to an audio comment from Anthony (aka @oriSTUDFARM), co-host of the Scutter Cast. If you're a fan of Red Dwarf - Scutter Cast is where you should be. As always, we are striving to present you a Season 6 Spoiler-free podcast. We do not refer to or make use of anything from Comic-con. Talk to us:
